LeBron Makes Bold Statement On Being Compared With Kobe Bryant

There’s an ongoing debate regarding the best basketball player of all times. It includes LeBron James, Michael Jordan, Kobe Bryant and a few others. it’s all fun and games until one of them says it’s ‘unfair.’ It’s LeBron.

LeBron James has been compared to Bryant in so many occasions. The whole thing turned into a mess after LeBron agreed to sign a four-year contract with the Los Angeles Lakers. Bryant’s fan destroyed his murals in LA, and even team owner Jeanie Buss had to step in and defend LeBron.

For some fans, Bryant is the basketball god who never didn’t do anything wrong on the court. That’s how LeBron got into trouble. Some fans can’t let go of the past, and they would probably deny every success has on the floor. He may win a few championship for the team, and he won’t be good for some fans. So, yes, LeBron is tired of this. During his interview with Jim Hill of CBS, LeBron talked about this comparison, saying it’s “unfair” to Bryant.

“I think that’s unfair,” he said. “That’s going to be the only thing that’s unfair in this conversation we have today because I think at the end of the day, we are all different.”

LeBron is right. Their careers are different at so many levels.

“Michael’s fans, Michael Jordan himself. Kobe fans, Kobe himself. LeBron fans, and LeBron himself. We’re all different on the simple fact that we all take different challenges, we’ve all had challenges, we’ve all had different courses, but the one thing that’s the same is that we would do anything to play this game of basketball every single day.

“Mike had his path, Mike was the greatest. Kobe had his path, Kobe was the greatest. I had my own path, hopefully someday someone will say I’m the greatest.”

What about his “chosen one” tattoo? And we can’t forget the times he called himself the best player of all time. it happend during an episode of ESPN’s More Than An Athlete. LeBron didn’t say he’s better than Kobe Bryant or the rest of the others, but there are a few contradictions in the comments he makes. That’s what fans say.
