Report: LeBron James To Have Full-Length Basketball Court Built On ‘Space Jam 2’ Set

LeBron James is going big with the filming of “Space Jam 2,” and he is taking things a little bit too far. But in a good way.

The Lakers star is ready for his big show, and this summer will be of great importance for him. There is one particular deal that caught our attention. LeBron may be busy filming, but he won’t skip his training.

The Los Angeles Lakers had a disappointing season and LeBron will miss the playoffs for the first time since 2005. It was a tough challenge, but LeBron and his teammates will have to live with it. One of the few good things about this is the fact that LeBron will have enough time to rest. His body and mind need some time off, and LeBron will definitely do great next season. All rested and relaxed.

Let’s go back to his filming. LeBron may not play games, but he won’t forget his training. The Lakers star is pretty serious about his shape, and he made sure everything is right this summer.

Joe Vardon of The Athletic reported that LeBron will have a full-length basketball court built on the set.

“Production begins this summer on ‘Space Jam 2,’ which stars LeBron and is set for a July 2021 release. This is not James’ first summer movie project; he filmed ‘Trainwreck’ in 2014 and the animated film ‘Smallfoot’ in 2017. Sources told The Athletic that a full-length basketball court would be built on the ‘Space Jam 2’ set for LeBron to train.”

The production has been dealing with a few problems, including the choice of another basketball player. Space Jam is related to Nike, and many players have signed deals with other companies. Other players are just too busy to join LeBron and the Space Jam.

“As to why shoes matter, Nike is essential to the Space Jam franchise. The 1996 first film was based on the ‘Hare Jordan’ commercial directed by Joe Pytka, who also helmed the feature. That makes the involvement of Curry (Under Armour contract through 2024) and Harden (Adidas) nearly impossible, sources say.”

Who will accompany LeBron on set?
