Bill Laimbeer Makes Bombshell Statement Over LeBron-Jordan G.O.A.T. Debate

Is LeBron James the greatest of all time? You can bet he is. What does Bill Maimbeer think about this?

According to him, LeBron is the greatest of all time “every day of the week!” We all know what that means.

Laimbeer defeated NBA legend Michael Jordan in the 1989 and 1990, and let’s just say that he had a few tough moments with MJ. However, he doesn’t have a grudge against Jordan, and has a few other reasons to believe that LeBron is the GOAT.

“[LeBron] came into the league involving his teammates from the start, at 18 years old,” Laimbeer said. “He understood how to play team basketball, both offensively and defensively, from day one. Jordan had to learn that. No one has single-handedly done what LeBron’s done.”

When asked if LeBron would be this great in his era, Laimbeer said, “If he was in our generation, he would’ve been by far the greatest that you’ve saw in your entire, whole world.”

LeBron couldn’t agree more. He considers himself the greatest of all time, because of the success he had with the Cleveland Cavaliers. LeBron helped the team win a championship, and that’s what matters the most.

“That one right there made me the greatest player of all time … that’s what I felt,” LeBron said. “I was super, super ecstatic to win one for Cleveland because of the 52-year drought. … The first wave of emotion was when everyone saw me crying, like, that was all for 52 years of everything in sports that’s gone on in Cleveland. And then after I stopped, I was like — that one right there made you the greatest player of all time.

“Everybody was just talking — how [the Warriors] were the greatest team of all time, like it was the greatest team ever assembled. And for us to come back, you know, the way we came back in that fashion, I was like, ‘You did, you did something special.’ That’s probably one of the only times in my career I felt like, oh, s—, like you did something special. I haven’t had, really had time, to really, like, sit back and think, but that … that was a moment.”
