New England Patriots Reportedly Sign Handful Of Undrafted Free Agents

The New England Patriots completed their draft process with a few free agents. Well, maybe they aren’t done yet. The Patriots are into building a winning team, and they have already drafted some great players. Head coach Bill Belichick and Nick Caseiro will probably call a few players who weren’t drafted.

Here’s a list of players who inked undrafted free agents deal with the Patriots:

Terez Hall

Jakobi Meyers

Calvin Anderson

Malik Gant

Xavier Ubosi

Andrew Beck

Ryan Davis

Tyree St. Louis

Tyler Gauthier

The Patriots selected wide receiver N’Keal Harry, cornerback Joejuan Williams, defensive end Chase Winovich, running back Damien Harris, offensive tackle, Yodny Cajuste, left guard Hjalte Froholdt, quarterback Jarrett Stidham, defensive tackle Byron Cowart, punter Jake Bailey and corner Ken Webster at the NFL Draft.

Jarrett Stidham was selected on Day 3 of the draft. He had a shaky college career, but sure got a nice potential.

“Shoot, I’m extremely excited,” Stidham told reporters after the Patriots selected him. “Obviously, New England has won a bunch of Super Bowls in recent history and Coach [Bill] Belichick is obviously one of the brightest minds in football, so just being able to be a part of what Mr. Kraft is doing in the organization, what Coach Belichick is doing in the organization, I’m so fired up and ready to get to work and be a part of a great organization.”

When it comes to Winovich, he was pretty excited to join New England.

“I like to think of myself as kind of a junkyard dog, just tenacious, relentless effort and motor, just scrapping for every inch,” Winovich said about his game. “But at the same time, I like to think I’m slippery here – as they say in Pittsburgh, ‘slippy.’ I think I bring some versatility and I think my combine was an example of some of the speed that I have, and when you factor all of that in together, I think that makes me a pretty interesting pick and prospect and football player in general. At the end of the day, I’m just trying to go out there, prove my worth to the other guys on the team and ultimately to the rest of the world.
