LeBron James Drops Major Hint Regarding Kevin Durant Free Agency Rumors

Kevin Durant is linked with several teams, including the Los Angeles Lakers. Everyone is talking about his next move, and LeBron James did something to get people talking. Durant’s final decision is in the center of all events. Durant will become a free agent at the end of the season, and there are so many rumors regarding his landing spots.

The Los Angeles Lakers are mentioned as a destination for the Golden State Warriors star. Guess what LeBron did this time? He started following Durant on Instagram, and the speculations are too much to handle. Are the Lakers going after Durant?

A follow on Instagram doesn’t necessarily mean that the Lakers are up to something. However, it sure means that LeBron is interested in getting Durant.

“I think Kevin Durant and LeBron James could deliver championships,” Stephen A. Smith said. “I’m saying it would be the worst thing for Kevin Durant. Why would you be leaving Golden State? Because you want to lead your own franchise and have your own name, reputation. He gave that up when he went to Golden State from Oklahoma City. The belief is that he wants to leave Golden State to create his own path, [because Golden State] is and forever will be Steph Curry’s territory. He [Curry] is the Derek Jeter of the Golden State area, and he’s the equivalent of Alex Rodriguez. As good as he may be, he will never be Steph Curry, the Alex Rodriguez to Derek Jeter. If you’re going to leave from there, why go to a similar situation in L.A.?”

When it comes to Durant, he doesn’t really reveal much. He had a nice convo with LeBron, but didn’t say a word.

“Everybody is so interested, especially in LeBron. So whoever he talks to, the lipreaders are going to try to figure that out,” Durant said. “You guys are infatuated with that whole thing. It’s fun. People try to figure it out.”

This goes against the story media members created earlier in the season. There was a rumor suggesting that Durant is jealous of the Lakers star. That’s not true.
