LeBron James Had 1-Emoji Reaction To Blazers Star Damian Lillard’s Game-Winner vs. Thunder

Damian Lillard had an excellent game-winner in the Portland Traiblazers’ 118-115 series-clinching win over the Oklahoma City Thunder. NBA players responded to his move, including LeBron James.

LeBron needed a single emoji to react to Damian’s game-winner.

We are convinced that general managers across the league will accuse LeBron of tampering, but let’s just say that they are losing their time. LeBron always talks about Damian, and he really likes his style. He even wanted him on his team!

Lillard has already been involved in rumors related to LeBron and the Lakers. But, his opinion was pretty clear, and he didn’t left any room for doubt.

“I’m not unhappy. I love where I live, I love the organization, I love our coaching staff, I love where I am,” he said about the rumors related to him and the Lakers. “It’s going to be a battle. The way I see it, you’re going to have the Golden State’s, the Rockets. We were the third best team in the West and every other team behind us, they brought their guys back. So they’re going to be one more year experienced together, probably going to be a little bit better. Teams like Denver, Utah and Minnesota, all those teams are going to be improved. So, us, we can’t look at free agency and who we didn’t get and (say) we didn’t make this trade and all that stuff. Once the season starts, we’ve got to go. And we’ve got to do what we’ve got to do … we’ve just got to find a way to make it happen.”

This isn’t the first story in which LeBron roots for Damian. Bleacher Report’s Ric Bucher reported that LeBron wanted Kyrie Irving traded to other team. According to his sources, LeBron wanted Damian Lillard on his team.

“League sources say that when James became convinced Irving couldn’t be persuaded to stay in Cleveland, he suggested to the Cavs front office that it deal Irving to the Blazers for All-Star point guard Damian Lillard. The Cavs never called the Blazers, but James’ interest has led to speculation about the Lakers trading for Lillard.”
