LeBron James Has A New ‘Martin’ Inspired Sneaker Colorway Coming Soon

LeBron James is shut down for the remainder of the regular season after the Los Angeles Lakers were officially out of the playoff race. LeBron will get a chance to rest this summer and recover from the groin injury that kept him out of the court for 17 games. But, that doesn’t mean that LeBron will spend his summer off doing nothing. It seems like there’s a brand new sneaker coming your way.

LeBron isn’t done releasing some great sneaker colorways. The king of basketball and Nike brought back LeBron Watch this season, and fans can now buy a limited run of some of the brilliant colorways he debuted on the court that would normally be player exclusives.

The latest colorway design of the LeBron 16 is brought up as a wide release and will actually honor LeBron’s favorite show, Martin. The sneakers are purple with yellow and crimson laces. There’s alos Nike lettering on the side that connects to the opening credits and promo posters of the show. This inspiration was confirmed by Frankie Walker in the comments section.

“As I sit back and analyze this new Lebron 16 colorway that surfaced it hit me like a ton of bricks these are inspired by the fifth season of Martin poster which happens to be one of @kingjamesfavorite shows!”

Brandon Richard from Sole Collector revealed that these may be the purple and yellow LeBron 16s that will be released on April 16. There’s no image of them on the Foot Locker release calendar. If this really happens, experts predict an extreme popularity because we all know how awesome and important Martin is.

LeBron is excellent outside the court, and he has proven his ability to turn into an awesome businessman. That’s why some fans criticized him for not focusing enough on the game. Others believe this was the reason LA is missing the playoffs this season. But, none of that is true, because LeBron gave his best to bring the team to the big game. It didn’t work, and there are several reasons to explain the failure. Better luck next year, Lakers!
