LeBron James Responds To Barkley’s Offer To Join ‘Inside The NBA’

The Los Angeles Lakers will miss the playoffs this year, and LeBron James will miss the big game for the first time since 2005. It wasn’t the best scenario that he hoped for, and things got really bad for him and the team. But, LeBron is optimistic about the whole thing, and he promised a better game and organization. However, Charles Barkley decided to play a little game, and took things too far. He said things he shouldn’t even think of. Believe it or not, Barkley had the courage to ask LeBron to join “Inside the NBA,” because he has nothing to do at this point. Really?

LeBron James, come into the studio. You ain’t got nothing to do,” Barkley said Sunday night. “I know you’ve got to pick a head coach and a general manager. Just put that on the backburner.”

LeBron couldn’t keep calm and say nothing. He talked to Dave McMenamin, and also responded to Barkley’s offer.

“I’m not going to let him disrespect my legacy like that,” LeBron told McMenamin of ESPN. “I’m not the one who threw somebody through a window. I never spit on a kid. I never had unpaid debt in Las Vegas. I never said, ‘I’m not a role model.’ I never showed up to All-Star Weekend on Sunday because I was in Vegas all weekend partying.”

His response to Barkley was even more hilarious.

“Sir Charles, I actually do have a ton going on but I may take you up on your offer. We shall see. #KingInStudio????”

That’s how you respond to a humiliating offer. Maybe Barkley didn’t even think of disrespecting or insulting LeBron, but his words didn’t quite fit in the concept. He insulted LeBron, and got what he deserves.

Let’s not forget that Barkley wasn’t too optimistic about LeBron James and his contract with the Los Angeles Lakers. Moreover, he said the team won’t win the big games. Let’s hope that Barkley offers an apology or at least explains his words, because this insult was like adding salt to a fresh injury. We are waiting for an apology, Barkley!
