LeBron’s Trust In The Lakers ‘Has Been Damaged,’ Must Be Rebuilt

LeBron James has been part of the NBA for long enough to know when someone is telling lies. Moreover, he will never believe a thing before seeing it. He has been involved in too many rumors lately, and none of that was actually true. Some said he had troubles with his teammates, and others claimed that his trust in the team had gone down the hill. LeBron decided to bust the rumors, and maybe this will be enough for people to stop talking about him and his teammates.

The Los Angeles Lakers were stuck in the middle of nowhere, and team owner Jeanie Buss knew that she has to make some changes. The Lakers were desperately trying to become contenders, but they ran out of luck. Buss, Magic Johnson and the rest of the front office took into consideration a few options, and LeBron James came on top of their list. They convinced him to ink a deal last summer, and LeBron agreed to a four-year deal with the team.

Things didn’t go the way Buss and Johnson planned. LeBron didn’t come to town to lose games. He came to win championships. He suffered a terrible groin injury on Christmas Day and missed 17 games. LeBron returned too early, hoping to fix the damage. But, it was too late. The Lakers are missing the playoffs, Magic Johnson resigned from his position in the front office, and head coach Luke Walton was fired.

Experts talked about the current situation in the team, and let’s just say that they weren’t really happy with the way the Lakers deal with the crisis. ESPN’s Dave McMenamin went on ESPN 710 AM in LA, and used the opportunity to say that the attitude of the organization damaged LeBron’s trust in the team.

LeBron will definitely affect the team’s coaching search. Ty Lue was one of the names involved in the talks, but there’s almost zero chance that Buss will hire someone outside the Lakers family.

The whole situation got people thinking, and there’s a rumor suggesting that LeBron is disappointed. Is this true? We are waiting for his response to these claims.
