Rob Gronkowski Gives Bold Advice To NFL Prospects Ahead Of 2019 Draft

The New England Patriots will be looking for new players at the beginning of the NFL Draft. Nearly 300 aspiring football players will turn their dreams into reality when their names are called during this year’s draft. Former Patriots tight end Rob Gronkowski knows what it takes to be an excellent player, and he has some nice advice for the rookies this year.

Gronkowski knows what he is talking about. He played his best football, and we are more than convinced that he practiced what he preached.

The Patriots own the last pick of the first round. Gronk left an empty spot after his retirement, and the Patriots may use their top pick to boost their tight end position. If the team goes after a tight end, the new player will have to try really hard to replace Gronk. But, we all know that Gronk can’t be replaced. He is the one and only.

This isn’t the first time Gronk advises younger players. He has already given some financial advice to his younger teammates. It’s hilarious.

“I had this one guy this year, he came up to me…” Gronkowski told Maverick Carter on Uninterrupted’s ‘Kneading Dough.’ “He was like, ‘Hey, Rob, you’ve got a Hummer. I see it. I want to get a Hummer. But my agent is telling me that I shouldn’t get a Hummer. It costs too much. It’s like $22,000.’

“And I was like, ‘Dude, if you want a Hummer, you’ve played one year, you can get a Hummer. It’s $22,000. It’s not like you’re paying for luxury.'”

Gronk likes to treat himself only when he deserves that.

“My friend had a chain, and I was like, ‘Dang, man, that’s a nice chain.’ I never had jewelry in my life,” Gronkowski told Carter. “He let me wear it last year at a party. “It made me feel good. So in the back of my head, I said, ‘If I hit all my incentives, if I do everything I need to do, get all my bonuses, put all the work in, I’ve got to finally treat myself.'”

Gronk is out of the NFL now, and he will have enough free time to spend some of the money he earned as star tight end.
