Tom Brady Had Epic Reaction To Edelman’s First Pitch At Red Sox’s Home Opener

Patriots receiver Julian Edelman knows how to do this thing, especially if it involves high speed and success. Edelman was one of the three Patriots to throw out the first pitch at Fenway Park. The New England Patriots attended the Red Sox home opener, and it was brilliant.

So, Edelman brought his energy to Fenway Park, and threw out the first pitch, alongside Rob Gronkowski and Stephon Gilmore. Believe it or not, Edelman went through his windup and fired a straight laser to Mookie Betts. It was something we saw coming.

Jules even made an offer to the team. He took to his Instagram account to tease the Red Sox. “Who needs some help in the bullpen? Hit me up,” Edelman wrote.

Patriots quarterback Tom Brady knows that his brother from another mother can do this and much more. He commented on Edelman’s first pitch. “Give em the heater Rick,” TB12 wrote.

Brady didn’t attend the celebration, and we still don’t know his reasons to skip the festivities. However, he didn’t forget to congratulate the Red Sox on Twitter.

“I want to congratulate the @RedSox for dropping ANOTHER Boston banner today. I couldn’t make it but I think a couple Super Bowl Champs were there to help out!” the quarterback wrote.

This was the cherry on top for Edelman. 2018 was crazy for him, but he made it. Edelman was named the Super Bowl MVP, and now this.

“To get to be able to [win the Super Bowl] three times, it’s an absolute blessing and I’m very fortunate,” the receiver said of his game and the Super Bowl. “It’s a lot of hard work, determination and sacrifice to put yourself in a position to get that opportunity. It was pretty cool to get the MVP, but more importantly, it was just cool to get that win.

“Coming off the knee [injury] and coming off adversity that I had to deal with, it obviously sweetened the pot a little. Being the last one with [tight end Rob Gronkowski, who announced his retirement following the season], in hindsight now, that will be something that I’ll always remember, and just the ebbs and flows of the season. Everyone picked everyone else but us the whole year … it made it pretty sweet. They’re like children — you don’t love any one more than the others — but it definitely felt great to have that.”
