Tom Brady Jokes About Returning To Baseball, Landing Monster Payday

Patriots quarterback Tom Brady spent his entire career in New England, but fans keep forgetting that the team wasn’t the first to offer Brady an opportunity to become a star. Before his collegiate football career at Michigan, TB12 was selected by the Montreal Expos in the 18th round of the 1995 Major League Baseball Draft. Brady decided to try his luck in the world of football, and it was one of the best decisions he has ever made. Today, Brady is the best quarterback to ever play on the field.

Big leagues enjoy great financial landscape, and the Patriots quarterback may change his mind. Baseball stars ink monster contracts. We can’t ignore Mike Trout and his record-breaking contract extension. The Los Angeles Rams cornerback Aqib Talib made a joke about the possibility to sign a MLB contract, and Brady had the perfect response.

“I’ve been trying to get the Expos back on the line for the past month!” Brady tweeted.

Maybe Brady was serious about retiring from football. Maybe it wasn’t an April Fools’ joke. If the Expos (Washington Nationals) take part of the game, Brady will be given a chance to revive his baseball career. The quarterback is a competitive person, and he can easily turn into a baseball star. Imagine that!

“Hey @TomBrady, we hear you’re looking to transition to a career in baseball. Say the word and we’ve got a spot in our #OpeningDay lineup for you this summer!”

“He made bogey and I made birdie for a two-shot flip on the last,” Jordan Spieth said. “And you’re supposed to go in at Augusta and, you know, have lunch, and hang out, and he didn’t say a word to me for like an hour and a half. I mean, the most competitive, like, I feel like I’ve very, very competitive, and he is the most competitive human being I’ve ever met.”

Brady will never be an average player. He has never been an average player. This baseball thing is just a joke, and Brady will keep winning Super Bowls. Simple as that. He needs a few more rings before retiring.
