Tom Brady Reacts To Patriots Selecting N’Keal Harry

The New England Patriots added N’Keal Harry to the roster, and quarterback Tom Brady is more than excited to play with his new teammate.

The team selected the Arizona State receiver, and Brady didn’t miss the opportunity to welcome Harry.

“Glad to have you, N’Keal,” Brady tweeted. “Big things ahead, excited to work with you.”

This may come as a relief after the retirement of Rob Gronkowski. Chris Hogan and Cordarrelle Patterson left the team in free agency. During his final season with the Sun Devils, Harry caught 73 passes for 1,088 yards and nine touchdowns.

Harry is looking forward to build strong chemistry with TB12. If he earns Brady’s trust, he will fit better in the league, and the Patroits need that.

“I would describe my game as very passionate,” he said. “I play with a lot of passion. Whenever that ball is in the air, I’ll sacrifice anything to go get it and I’ll do whatever it takes to help the team win. Anything Coach wants me to do, whether it’s on special teams, offense, anything, I’ll do it just to do my part and to be one piece of the puzzle in helping us win.”

I’m extremely excited,” Harry told New England reporters when asked about catching passes from TB12. “I’m just ecstatic to come in, work hard, constantly improve and just live up to the expectations.”

The Patriots will hope to see Harry working really hard.

“Show up, work hard, take coaching and just try to improve each day,” Director of Player Personnel Nick Caserio said when asked what Harry can do to succeed in New England. “Honestly, that’s a formula for every player. If you do that – I mean, it’s not that hard. It seems pretty simple but it’s not that hard. But, if you do those things – if you show up, if you work hard, develop a routine, have good habits, get into a day-to-day, you’re consistent day-to-day and you take coaching and you improve – you’re probably going to become a decent player. If you don’t do those things, it’s probably not going to go too well for you.”
