The Boston Bruins and Toronto Maple Leafs will meet at TD Garden for their Game 7. It’s a huge winner-take-all game, and the teams meat for the second year in a row. It’s a big battle and the Bruins and Leafs will actually meet for the third time in seven years. This is the most extraordinary ending to the teams’ first round series in the Stanley Cup Playoffs. The game will be aired on NESN at 7 p.m. ET.
TD Garden will be on fire. Bruins captain Zdeno Chara decided to add some fuel to the fire. He took to his Instagram account to boost his fans. “Let’s hear it tomorrow!” he wrote.
Patriots quarterback Tom Brady was among the first to comment on the post. His comment was definitely a thing, and Brady spoke in the name of Boston fans. “Go Bruins!” TB12 commented.
We have noticed that this is a common practice in Boston, and athletes support each other. We have seen Brady root other top athletes during their playoff runs. He also knows how to thank Boston for all the support.
is the place to be! Feels like a home game!”
Brady said during the send-off rally.
“We gotta take this right here and bring it to Atlanta to us. Hopefully we can
bring the trophy back home. Can’t thank you enough. We’re excited. We’re still
here! We’re still here! We’re still here!
“I just love it and I love playing. Like I said, many of those
things are still the same. I loved playing then, I still love playing now. I
don’t take anything for granted, I really don’t. I enjoy it. I think we all
work hard at it but to get to this point is really exceptional. I’m proud of
the guys for making the commitment and it’s certainly not easy. I think
everyone at this point is tired and worn down but at the same time, you have
one of the great opportunities in your life. This is a memory you’ll have
forever and I really hope we can go out and take advantage of it. The Rams have
worked equally as hard. They’ve got a great team. They do well in all phases
just like all the teams we’ve played in this game. It’s a very difficult game
to win. I’m excited for it. I’m going to try to get as much rest as I can and
try to go out and play our best game of the year when we need it the most.”
