Video Showing Tom Brady Hitting Home Run At Fenway Park Is Blast From The Past

Tom Brady is the best player in the world of football, but he would be also great if he had decided to play baseball. Brady made a few jokes about his potential return to the Montreal Expos. There is an old video of the Patriots quarterback and his home run.

In the video, Brady talks to former Red Sox skipper Grady Little before going in the batters box, and TB12 was actually able to hook one around the Pesky Pole for a home run.

“I did pull it out on one of the shorter parts,” Brady said in the NESN interview. “To get it out on the last swing, I kind of walked away with a real good taste in my mouth.”

Brady was drafted by the Montreal Expost in the 18th round in the 1995 MLB Draft. He would have climbed much higher, but football is his grand love.

“I think he could have been one of the greatest catchers ever,” former Expos GM Kevin Malone told Bleacher Report’s Bill Speros back in 2017. “I know that’s quite a statement, but the projections were based on the fact we had a left-hand-hitting catcher, with arm strength and who was athletic. … But his first love was football.”

Brady will sure be the star at Fenway next week when the team is scheduled to attend the Red Sox home opener and actually celebrate their championship win with fans in Boston. The Red Sox will also celebrate the 2018 World Series championship.

“We’ve invited the Patriots and we’re ecstatic they’re going to be there. It’s going to be a great day,” said Red Sox president Sam Kennedy on Thursday, WBZ-TV.

He added: “We have an exciting day coming up on Tuesday. It has been a tough start to the season, but we’re going to celebrate Boston championships on Tuesday. We’ve had a great tradition of celebrating and recognizing Boston teams and their championships, so we’re excited to be celebrating two championships that took place.”

It’s time for a big celebration and both teams deserve that for everything they did on the field. Keep up the good job, guys!
