Every NBA fan would mention LeBron James, Kevin Durant or Stephen Curry when it comes to listing the best players of modern basketball. These three are part of every list in the league, and they sure have some great numbers to brag about. Durant and Curry play for the Golden State Warriors, an elite team that knows how to win championships. What happens when you ask one of the best players about his best players of all time?

Curry was asked about his top 5 NBA players of all times, and yes, he sort of surprise us.

In a recent late show segment video, Lakers legend Kobe Bryant ranked himself, LeBron and Michael Jordan. There’s an ongoing debate regarding these three players. But, it’s interesting to note that Bryant didn’t make it into Curry’s top five.

Golden State Warriors reporter Logan Murdock posted a video, and set the Internet on fire.

“I would say [Michael] Jordan, Wilt [Chamberlain], LeBron [James], Shaq [O’Neal], and Magic [Johnson],” Curry said.

Four of these players are tied to the Lakers, and Bryant isn’t one of them

It’s interesting how Curry chose LeBron. We understand Michael Jordan’s spot. Everyone lists him, because yes, he was brilliant. Magic Johnson is part of this list, and so is Shaquille O’Neal. Curry didn’t forget to mention Wilt Chamberlain, and we all remember how the legend scored 100 points in a game. It was a miracle on the court.

This list makes sort of sense for many people, but we do believe that some fans won’t be happy about it.

It’s more than obvious that Curry respects LeBron in terms of his professional achievement. Will Curry be happy with his career once it’s over? Will he be part of someone’s top five?

When it comes to LeBron, his debut season with the Lakers ended a bit early as the team decided to shut him down for the remainder of the season. He will have enough time to rest this summer and recover completely. That groin strain was awful, and LeBron was in lot of pain. The Lakers didn’t make the playoffs, so he can have some rest now.
