Jeff Bezos And Tom Brady Had Amazing Exchange After Meeting at Kentucky Derby Gala

Patriots quarterback Tom Brady was having a really great time at the Barnstable Brown Kentucky Derby Gala. He met some new people, including Amazon CEO Jeff Bezos. Party hostess Tricia Barnstable-Brown made sure these two get to know each other.

“He could not have been a nicer guy,” her son Chris Barnstable-Brown said of Bezos, who was attending his first-ever Kentucky Derby.

“My mom took Tom Brady by the hand to meet Jeff Bezos,” he said, adding that Brady and Bezos were “laughing together” and even “gave each other a bro hug at the end.”

Bezos attended the Gala with his sister and some of his Amazon colleagues. He congratulated Bon Jovi guitarist Richie Sambora after the set with country singer Travis Tritt.

“He was gracious and fun and he and Richie Sambora were hanging out after Richie performed and he had his arm around him,” Chris added. “He talked to everyone — he is a really normal and great guy.”

This is Bezos’ first ever Kentucky Derby, and it’s Brady’s regular thing. The Patriots quarterback turned the derby into a tradition, and he always travels to Kentucky for the racing event.

Brady was accompanied by some of his New England Patriots teammates, including wideout Julian Edelman and former wideout Deion Branch.

The quarterback was photographed having fun with Cleveland Browns quarterback Baker Mayfield and Indianapolis Colts quarterback Jacoby Brissett.

Let’s not forget that Bezos wasn’t accompanied by his girlfriend Lauren Sanchez, who filed for divorce from Patrick Whitesell on April 5. A day earlier, Bezos announced that he had finalized his divorce from MacKenzie, and she got 25 percent of his fortune. That’s about $36 billion.

According to Forbes, Bezos is the richest person in the world with an estimated net worth of $110 billion. His relationship with Sanchez was confirmed in January, right after he and MacKenzie announced their decision to separate.

Brady is having fun throughout the offseason. He went on Jimmy Kimmel Live, and talked about his future career plans and his current success with the Patriots. The quarterback is also busy working out, and he never misses an opportunity to throw a pass.
