Watch: Shannon Sharpe Actually Bought a Pair of LeBrons Live on ‘Undisputed’

LeBron James is the greatest player of all times, and Shannon Sharpe likes him so much. Skip Bayless on the other hand, isn’t the greatest fan of the Lakers star. Sharpe isn’t afraid to show his admiration for LeBron, and yes, it borders on the obsessive. Sharpe did his best to challenge Bayless in the LeBron-Durant topic that he even bought a new pair of LeBron 16s worth $200. Wow.

Sharpe, Bayless and the rest of the guys on Undisputed were in the middle of a KD-LeBron-Michel Jordan legacy comparison, and Sharpe used the occasion to express his love for the king.

Bayless didn’t try to cover up his criticism. He said, “We’ve known for 2 years now that Kevin Durant has eclipsed LeBron James as the best player on the planet. He’s taken it up to a level nobody has ever seen before. LeBron James has never known this level. He [LeBron] has never known the ability to just rise up over anybody at any moment and make a jump shot. LeBron can’t do that.”

Shannon isn’t bothered with the fact that LeBron and the Los Angeles Lakers are missing the playoffs. That’s how a real supporter acts.

We bet Bayless isn’t a fan of pairing LeBron and Durant in Los Angeles. Stephen A. Smith shares the same opinion.

“That was my answer, the answer was the Lakers, but it’s for a different reason,” Smith said when asked if the Lakers are right pick for Durant. “Not to say that any of your reasons were wrong, because they’re all right on point and I agree with you about the Knicks because they’d win something and at least be a contender with him there and that would help bring stability.

“But in the case of where he should go, where he shouldn’t go, I think the Lakers are the last place that Kevin Durant should want to go for this reason: clearly he’s looking to eclipse LeBron not help LeBron remain afloat, and we all know that if KD went to LA he would be viewed as a secondary dude to LeBron, because LeBron got picked first, LeBron’s at 3-time Champion, even though he (Durant) will be a three-time champion – the very thing that he wants to avoid, he will be invited, and that would be an absolute emotional nightmare for KD. The last place he needs to go is to the Lakers.”
