Report: LeBron James Went To Philadelphia To Meet With Kawhi

LeBron James isn’t involved in the team’s search for a head coach. However, he doesn’t even think of giving up on his team duties. The Los Angeles Lakers signed up for this. The team made it clear to LeBron that they don’t want him involved in team management. It’s not like they told him directly, but the media leaks did it all.

Stephen A. Smith appeared on ESPN Radio LA alongside Jorge Sedano, and used the opportunity to say that LeBron is getting really involved in recruiting other players. Smith reported that LeBron went to Philadelphia to meet with Kawhi Leonard.

The Toronto Raptors had their second-round playoff series, and it was the perfect place to be. If any of this is true, LeBron will proceed with the thing he did during the Lakers’ final match against the Raptors in March. “We’ll be in touch,” LeBron told Leonard after the game.

LeBron James has quietly been about the business of trying to get Kawhi Leonard to come to the Los Angeles Lakers instead of the Los Angeles Clippers,” Smith said. “So making a move like this, by not bringing in the coach that he wants, not securing that the coach that he wants in Los Angeles is his guy, you never know what dominoes are going to fall right now.”

Most reports said that Leonard won’t sign with the Los Angeles Lakers. He will probably stay with the Raptors or at least sign with the Los Angeles Clippers.

Leonard is really quiet, and there’s no leak regarding his future plans. But, is there really a chance for Leonard to sign a deal with the Lakers? They are one of the most dysfunctional teams in the NBA. The Lakers may not have a chance to sign Leonard in July.

This just confirms the fact that LeBron is on the recruiting trail two months ahead of free agency. He is really successful in recruiting great stars.

What will happen with the Lakers in the next few months? Will LeBron leave the team? There are so many theories regarding the future of the franchise, and we don’t know where to start.
