Report: LeBron James Has Decided On Asking For A Trade

LeBron James joined the Los Angeles Lakers nearly a year ago. His debut season was terrible, but it wasn’t his fault. Instead of becoming contenders, the Lakers turned into a shipwreck, and one of their major figures left. Magic Johnson resigned from his position as director of basketball operations, but his resignation has nothing to do with LeBron James or other players. He didn’t even inform team owner Jeanie Buss. The Lakers fired Luke Walton and hired Frank Vogel. There was a rumor suggesting that LeBron would request a trade.

Well, he doesn’t even think of this. King James didn’t came to town to give up. He came for a reason, and he won’t leave Los Angeles in near future.

Stephen A. Smith said that the Lakers won’t trade LeBron, adding that the king won’t request a trade, too.

“Jalen Rose said the same thing myself and even Max Kellerman said. [Rose said] ‘He should ask for a trade,'” Smith said. “In other words, we don’t know. We don’t believe that’s what LeBron James will do. Matter of fact, I’m told it’s not what he will do.

“I’m certainly told…the Lakers will not trade him either, even though there’s been people in Hollywood, not basketball people, but people in Hollywood in Jeanie Buss’ ear telling her, ‘Get rid of him. Trade him. Just rebuild because ya’ll ain’t going anywhere anyway.’ But again, he doesn’t have a no-trade clause, so you could conceivably move him. That’s not something they’re going to do. It’s not something he’s thinking about doing.”

Trading LeBron is mission impossible. LeBron won’t agree to that, and he’d rather retire. Giving up on LeBron will kill the Lakers’ chance to sign another star free agent. No player would go to Los Angeles if the team trades a player like LeBron James. That’s just insane. No one would ever trust the Lakers, and Klutch Sports clients would put a cross on the franchise. Jeanie Buss will have to do a lot of thinking, and she will have to come up with a good solution. Let’s see what happens next with the team.
