Tom Brady Responds To Charlie McAvoy’s Celebratory Instagram Video

Patriots quarterback Tom Brady and his now-retired teammate tight end Rob Gronkowski are a match made in heaven. They even match their ways of celebrating. Brady and Gronk posted a nice video after the AFC Championship win on Jan. 20, and guess what… Charlie McAvoy and Torey Krug recreated it. Yes, it was that awesome.

Brady and Gronk had sly grins on their happy faces and P.Diddy’s 2001 song “Bad Boy For Life” was the perfect soundtrack for the video.

It’s been sixteen weeks and five days now, and McAvoy and some of his Bruins teammates re-created the magnificent video on the team’s plane back to Boston. The Bruins completed a sweep of the Hurriganes and made the Stanley Cup Final.

McAvoy, Torey Krug, David Pastrnak, Matt Grzelcyk, Danton Heinen, and Brad Marchand are all decked out in their 2019 Eastern Conference Champions gear. They sing along to the song’s chorus, “We ain’t, go-in nowhere, we ain’t, goin nowhere / We can’t be stopped now, cause it’s Bad Boy for life.”

“W! @tombrady @gronk #StillHere #NotDoneYet #LetsGoBs #FinalsBound,” McAvoy wrote in the caption. Does this look like Brady’s celebratory video? Of course it does!

The GOAT didn’t miss the chance to react to the video.

The New England Patriots won Super Bowl LIII after the quarterback’s video proclaimed that he and his team were “still here.”

McAvoy leads Bruins skaters in average time on ice in the playoffs. He will help the team meet the same result in the Stanley Cup Final against the Blues or the Sharks.

“Here on this level, I’m like this,” McAvoy said while his team was doing magic on the ice, holding out his hand, palm down, and glading it in a steady line in front of his face.

“But up there,” he said, and pumped his fist and bounced out of his imaginary seat. “I’m glad I get to play tomorrow.”

“Whenever you’re out, you can use it as an opportunity to get other things feeling right,” he said, noting that watching the game from upper level gave him a good perspective. “I feel like I picked up on some things.”
