Kevin Durant Manager Gives Major Update On Golden State Warriors Future Amid Knicks Links

The 2018-19 season will be interesting in so many aspects. Almost every NBA team will have to make a decision regarding the roster and the possible signings. Some teams may lose their star players, and other hope to sign an All-Star. The Los Angeles Lakers believe they have a chance to sign Kevin Durant or Kyrie Irving. However, the Golden State Warriors star has yet to make a decision on his future.

Rumors suggest that Durant may pass the Lakers and sign a contract with the New York Knicks. His manager, Rich Kleiman, said that Durant hasn’t made a decision on his future plans with the Golden State.

Durant will probably leave the Warriors this summer as he tries to build his own team and lead it. He’s been part of the Warriors for three seasons, and may win another title if his team defeats the Milwaukee Bucks or the Toronto Raptors.

The Finals may be Durant’s last appearance for the Warriors as he is expected to opt out of the final year of his contract with the team. The star has a player option to extend his deal, but he will probably become free agent.

The Knicks missed on Zion Williamson as they won the No. 3 pick in the NBA draft lottery, and fans believe Durant is their final hope to become contenders. The team finished with the worst record in the NBA last season.

However, Kleiman says there’s no deal at the moment.

“No, no, no, no,” Kleiman said about the rumors. “That is 100 per-cent undecided. I’m waiting on Kevin, and that’s the truth. I think there’s this feeling that everything is like war games, but when someone gets to the level of basketball he’s at, you can’t juggle focus like that. He’s not scripting his future while he’s playing the way he plays and practicing the way he practices. I think it’s frustrating at times. I get it, even when I was a kid, the soap opera stuff was exciting, but now it’s more soap opera than basketball. He really doesn’t know, and I really don’t know.”
