Kevin Durant To Lakers: LeBron James Sent Devastating Message Over Free Agency

Kevin Durant is linked with so many teams across the NBA, especially now that we are aware of the possibility that he becomes a free agent.

ESPN’s Brian Windhorst believes that the Lakers aren’t a good fit for Durant, and he suggested that the player should better go somewhere else.

There are less than six weeks until the free agency, and there are so many rumors regarding Durant’s future plans. He is one of the greatest free agents available. The same applies to Kawhi Leonard, Kyrie Irving and Jimmy Butler. The Golden State Warriors believe that Durant will probably re-sign with the franchise. Other reports suggest that he will leave the Golden State and sing with other team. The New York Knicks are favorites, and the Los Angeles Clippers and Brooklyn Nets are also an option. Where will he go.

“I cannot see him playing for the Los Angeles Lakers,” Windhorst said on the Stephen A. Smith radio show. “I just don’t see him wanting to team up with LeBron.

“As much as he has a good relationship with him, I think that defeats the point of what he’d be trying to prove which is he can go do it as the centrepiece of a team. If he’s going to stay with another star, why not stay with the guys he’s with right now because that’s working out really beautifully. I don’t think it has anything to do with Magic, Jeanie or Pelinka. It doesn’t make sense to me that that would be his move.

“I can almost see him making more sense for him to join just about any other team. You could almost convince me that going to Detroit would be amazing for him and playing alongside Blake Griffin as opposed to having to go with what it would do for him to play alongside LeBron. I could be wrong though because one thing about Kevin that is undeniable is that he has changing moods. The way he feels here in mid-May has nothing to do with the way he may feel in five or six weeks and that’s his reality.”
