Photos: Patriots’ Kyle Van Noy Surprises Foster Families By Fulfilling Their Day With Adventures

On May 15, Kyle Van Noy had some really great time with his wife Marissa and 50 foster kids and their families. The Patriot worked with Wonderfund and brought the kids to Boundless Adventures. It’s an aerial adventure park in Berlin, Mass. “I got to go get my mind right,” Van Noy said as he was getting ready for the day.

Kyle secured himself into a harness, and scaled the heights and navigated the ziplines and obstacles above the ground. The Patriots moved through the second highest route, and a vocal teenager teased him because his feet were too big for the footholds on one of the challenges.

“It was challenging,” he said. “They have the little bunny hills, as people would say for skiing, then the black diamonds. I made it to the blue level, and I think that was enough for me. Honestly, the kids had a great time, and I had a good time razzing them.”

Kyle and Marissa’s Van Noy Valor Foundation advocates for foster and adoptive families, giving them brilliant experience. The Foundation gave these foster families an incredible experience.

“People graze over this month a bit, and we just want to shed a light on it and show that foster care matters. People matter,” Kyle said.

“That’s to all the families, the parents, the kids, the people that are in social work,” Marissa added. “The whole community.”

Such days builds strong relationships and gives families unique experience. Everyone likes a good challeng.

“It’s just so fun to get to know people and build relationships. For them too, it’s confidence,” Kyle said. “Just seeing their confidence of working together, getting stuck in a certain situation and cheering each other on or razzing me getting stuck. Just little things like that to get away and have a good time, it really is a blessing.”

Van Noy did an incredible job that day, and those kids will never forget the experience day had. Even those who were hesitant at the beginning of the day took the highest ropes laughing with their new best friend. Those smiles are worth a a fortune, and Van Noy knows it.
