Broncos Star Von Miller Makes Surprising Statement About Tom Brady

Denver Broncos standout defender Von Miller is no longer a rival of Patriots quarterback Tom Brady. Today, he is one of Brady’s most vocal admirers. In a clip from NFL Network’s Tom 100 Players of 2018 that was released last June, Miller called Brady a great player before defending him against haters.

“Tom Brady is great. He’s been great for a long time, and anybody that hates on him is just a hater, because there’s nothing that you can hate on Tom Brady about. He’s battled through injury. He’s fought through adversity on the football field and off the football field. He’s done everything the right way. He’s playing as long as anybody can play. He’s taken care of his body. And he’s winning championships at the same time. So, if you’re hating on him, you’re just a hater, and shame on you.”

Brady admires Von Miller, too. These two spent some time at the Kentucky Derby, and Miller looked like he was having some really good time. “It’s extremely hard not to like Tom Brady and all of those guys. Julian Edelman, Danny Amendola, Lonie Paxton was there.”

Miller was a lifestyle correspondent for NBC and he interviewed Brady. So yes, he wasn’t just another football person at the derby.

 “It was dope to be able to interview Tom Brady and spend time with all of those guys on the Oaks day and on the Derby day. It was definitely an experience,” Miller said. “I’m a Tom Brady fan, unless on Sundays.”

You can’t really hear the same words from other players and analysts. Many said that Brady’s performance had dropped in the 2018 season, but his sixth ring shut down all the rumors about his retirement and Father Time.

Brady is doing a really good job for the team, and his offseason workout confirms that he is the GOAT. TB12 works like a machine on the field, and he doesn’t even think of slowing down. Miller was right about those comments, and we believe that the Patriots nation would like him even more. Keep up the good job, GOAT.
