Good Luck Watching Edelman’s Karaoke Performance Without Cringing

New England Patriots wide receiver Julian Edelman is a proven and talented football player. But, singing for sure is not one of his talents.

On Saturday, Edelman decided to surprise his fans with a karaoke performance. While driving through Los Angeles, the 32-years-old athlete passed through the notoriously hellacious Southern California traffic singing the famous Eagles’ hit “Hotel California.”

Edelman shared his performance via several Instagram stories and NESN’s Dakota Randall took the videos to Twitter.

Another video features Edelman enjoying the beats of “Jukebox Hero.”

There is a lot of road rage among the drivers, but Edelman obviously knows how to handle the Californian traffic – with good music and positive mood.

Earlier this week, the wide receiver joked New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady by posting a picture of the pair during their off-season workout. The picture showed the duo during a recent workout with Tom Brady holding a training rope that is attached to Edelman’s waist.

“After 10 years you’d think I would have a longer leash in the off season @tombrady,” Edelman wrote on Instagram.

Brady was quick to reply to the comment: “Nope!” Said the six-time Super Bowl champion.

The Super Bowl champions appeared to have carried over their winning 10-year relationship into the offseason with good-natured humor.

Last week, Edelman finally graduated from Kent State University, in Ohio, 13 years after beginning his college education. Edelman, who was named this year’s Super Bowl MVP following the Patriots’ victory over the Rams, later posted a video of himself receiving his diploma, wearing his cap and gown.

“I believe it is important to finish what you start,” Edelman wrote. “This Saturday, I will be walking with my fellow Kent State graduates. Completing what I started back in 06. It is important to me that I make my parents proud as I fulfill a promise that I made to them that I would, one day, be a college graduate. I also want to set a great example for my daughter, so that when I talk about the importance of a college degree, I can show her that earning my degree was important to me. To my fellow Golden Flash graduates, Congratulations!”
