LeBron’s Comment Fuels Darius Garland To Lakers Draft Speculation

The Los Angeles Lakers are part of almost every conversation regarding the 2019 NBA Draft and the upcoming free agency. There’s so much talking about the draft picks and fans can’t wait to see the future Laker. The team won the No. 4 pick, and may use it to acquire another young talent. Some say that the front office is more interested in adding the pick to a trade package and signing a star player. The Lakers are focused on Anthony Davis, but the New Orleans Pelicans don’t even think of negotiating with the team. Bradley Beal, Kyle Lowry and many others have been involved in the talks. What about Darius Garland?

Los Angeles may pick a young prospect and spice up their young core. Former Vanderbilt guard Darius Garland is commonly involved in talks, and LeBron James’ comment said it all.

Garland took to his Instagram account to post about the draft, and LeBron liked his post and wrote a comment that got us thinking.

“Draft Dreaming,” Garland wrote, and LeBron’s comment read, “No need to dream no more lil bro! It’s about to become a REALITY!!”

This comment triggered an avalanche of reactions, and it suggests that the front office in LA may target the 19-year-old guard.

Let’s not forget that the draft prospect is represented by Klutch Sports, the same agency that stands behind LeBron. Jon Adams from Heavy.com pointed out that Garland was at the Muhammad Ali documentary. What makes this so special? The documentary was produced by LeBron James and his partner Maverick Carter.

“As the above photo shows, Garland just so happened to be at last week’s HBO premiere of the Muhammad Ali documentary ‘What’s My Name?’, produced by James along with Maverick Carter,” Adams wrote.

According to SB Nation, Garland was signed by the agency as one of the many high-profile additions. There are so many talented players in the group, and John Wall, Ben Simmons and Eric Bledsoe are just some of them.

This is definitely an interesting turn in the whole draft thing. What are the Lakers up to? Will they get Garland?
