NFL Experts Have Groundbreaking Nickname For Patriots’ N’Keal Harry

N’Keal Harry is considered a big weapon for the New England Patriots offense. In a report released by Bleacher Report, the first-round pick is viewed as a key addition to the offense.

Rob Gronkowski left the team, and Harry came at the right moment.

“As a result, Brady may find a new favorite target in wideout N’Keal Harry,” Bleacher Report’s Maurice Moton writes. “He’s a 6’4”, 213-pounder who’s equipped to outmuscle defenders at the top of his routes and haul in contested catches. The Arizona State product can also line up on the inside as a mismatch against small slot defenders or beat less physical perimeter cornerbacks.

“Though Harry ran a 4.53-second 40-yard dash at the combine, he’s capable of escaping defenders after the catch with a mean stiff-arm. The rookie will expose defensive backs who have issues wrapping up on takedowns.”

Harry is happy with the team. “Coaches have just been trying to show me different techniques to help me get open, so I’m just trying to apply that every day when I come out here,” Harry said at Patriots OTAs last week. “That’s just my job. As a wide receiver, my job is just to get separation, get open and catch the ball. So that’s my main focus every time I step out there on every play I take part in.

“I just want to do whatever I can to be successful and to help the team win. Whatever Coach asks of me, I’ll do it, whether that’s on the inside, whether that’s in the slot. If they want to put me in the backfield, it doesn’t matter. I’ll do whatever I need to do.”

The Patriots made a good pick.

“I would describe my game as very passionate. I play with a lot of passion. Whenever that ball is in the air, I’ll sacrifice anything to go get it and I’ll do whatever it takes to help the team win. Anything Coach wants me to do, whether it’s on special teams, offense, anything, I’ll do it just to do my part and to be one piece of the puzzle in helping us win.”
