Rob Gronkowski Spends Night At MGM Springfield, Patriots Fans Go Wild

Rob Gronkowski may be out of the world of football, but he is still in the center of all events. The now-retired tight end spent his Saturday night at MGM Springfield, and fans went crazy. Everyone was posting pics of Gronkowski, and it seems like the retired tight end was celebrating his 30th birthday at Commonwealth Bar and Lounge.

Gronk enjoys every minute of his retirement. He was dancing on stage with Terry Crews and used the Lombardi Trophy to lay down a bunt at the opening ceremony at Fenway Park. Is Gronk living his best life? You can bet he is.

Fans have started asking questions about his comeback. Will Gronk return to the field?

Sports Illustrated’s Albert Breer reported that the tight end played with a bulging disc in his back in 2018. He wrote that Gronk’s injury healed, but that injury may be a big problem for Gronk in case he plans to return to the field.

“One reason why Gronkowski scuffled through 2018 was a mid-season battle with a bulging disk in his back,” Breer wrote. “By the end of the year, it was no longer a factor. But I’m told that knowing how close he might have been to a fourth back surgery, and the implications that could have down the line, was one factor in his decision to retire. So just logically, it’d be hard to imagine that concern would go away at 30 years old. Or, at the very least, would be one mental hurdle he’d have to clear if he were to come back again.”

Gronkowski was listed as questionable from Weeks 4-12 due to an ankle injury. He didn’t play in Week 7, and was listed on the injury report due to ankle and back ailments. The tight end wasn’t inactive in Week 9 vs. the Packers and Week 10 vs. the Titans.

Gronk caught just 47 passs for 682 yards and three touchdowns during the regular season. IN 2017, he had 69 receptions for 1,084 yards and eight touchdowns.

Let’s see what happens in 2019. Maybe Gronk will change his mind and join his former teammates to win another Super Bowl.
