Tom Brady Explains Why He Trains So Hard Even In The Offseason

Many players use the offseason to relax and recover, but Patriots quarterback Tom Brady isn’t into relaxing. The GOAT works out really hard, and we saw him throwing passes to Julian Edelman. Brady also worked out with his trainer Alex Guerrero, and visited UCLA for the same purpose.

Jimmy Kimmel asked Brady if he knows it’s the offseason. That’s a typical Jimmy Kimmel question.

“You do know it’s the offseason, right? You’re aware? This is vacation time,” Jimmy Kimmel said to Brady while appearing on Jimmy Kimmel Live on Thursday night.

“I feel like I always want to be ready to go,” the GOAT said. “I can actually go enjoy myself if I feel like I’m in game shape. It wouldn’t take me too long to get ready, but to have the ability to do that in the offseason and keep things sharp is so important to me.”

When asked about the way he stays in shape throughout the season, Brady said, “I think if you try and ride that rollercoaster it’s tough as an athlete. This is your profession. We all work hard. We want to stay at the top of our game and I think that’s a year long commitment.”

Is Brady trying to improve himself? Kimmel had a bunch of good questions regarding this.

“I think definitely try to improve,” Brady said. “I feel like after all these years, there’s a certain feeling you get when you throw the perfect pass. I’m sure that’s like that in other careers, but when you’re really on and you’re nailing it, you just want to repeat it.”

Kimmel wanted to know if the Patriots quarterback is sick of preparing, and got the answer he hoped for.

“Not to this point,” Brady said. “To be at the top of give your team a chance to win every season, you have to put a lot into it. I try to bring my best everyday. I try to be the best teammate, leader and also physically to stay prepared. No one wants someone that is taking up space.”

Brady answered pretty much every question fans would ask, and we are looking forward to his next interview.
