Tom Brady Wishes His Father A Happy Birthday With Lovely Instagram Post

Tom Brady is really active on social networks, and he always posts things about his family, career and team. This time the Patriots quarterback took to his Instagram account to wish his father a happy birthday.

“Happy 75th birthday to the best dad in the world! Every day I try to be like you,” he wrote.

The quarterback always talks about his parents, expressing his gratitude for everything they have done for him. During the send-off rally, TB12 talked about his parents and their role in his life and career.

“I was raised by a great mom and dad who were very important in my life, still are, and I think they taught me some really great lessons when I was a kid,” he told the crowd at Gillette Stadium. “My mom’s – I think some of you guys have met her – she’s probably the sweetest person I’ve ever met in my life. I get a lot from her. My dad is very loving, empathetic and I get a lot from him. My family, my sisters were very competitive growing up. I got a lot from them. And then just being a part of some really great teams, I learned a lot.”

Brady likes to throw footballs, and he’s paid to do that. But his father remembers that Brady enjoyed throwing golf clubs. He and Brady made bets on the golf games they played.

“I remember one particular day we were on our way to Candlestick Park to see the Giants, but we stopped at the golf course to play nine holes,” Brady Sr. said in one of his interviews.

“Of course, we would always double or nothing. By the time we got to the seventh hole, he owed me about 40 car washes, and he ended up throwing the club into the tree.”

When Brady threw the club, his father sent him to the car, and told him he would not play golf with him anymore.

“He begged me he’d never do it again,” Brady Sr. said. “And we drove home and stopped at the golf course and played another nine holes of golf, but that didn’t stop him from throwing golf clubs.”

When Brady went to college, Brady Sr. noticed a hole in his wall. His mom, Galynn, covered the hole with a picture.

“Then she moved the picture, and I discovered the hole in the wall,” Brady Sr. said. “It was one of those things where he couldn’t believe that something had occurred, and put the T.V. remote through the wall.”
