Tom Brady Wishes His Mom A Happy Mother’s Day With Emotional Instagram Statement

Patriots quarterback Tom Brady wished his mum a happy Mother’s Day.

TB12 took to Instagram to deliver a very special message for Galynn. Brady loves his mother, and she has been his greatest support during games. The quarterback was by Galynn’s side during her cancer treatment.

“And Happy Mother’s Day to MY mom, the most loving and selfless person I have ever met, and who has been there for me for every step of the way! I love you Mom! Have a great day!!” Brady wrote on Instagram.

During the send-off rally at Gillette Stadium, Brady talked about his parents and their role in his life.

“I was raised by a great mom and dad who were very important in my life, still are, and I think they taught me some really great lessons when I was a kid,” he told the crowd at Gillette Stadium. “My mom’s – I think some of you guys have met her – she’s probably the sweetest person I’ve ever met in my life. I get a lot from her. My dad is very loving, empathetic and I get a lot from him. My family, my sisters were very competitive growing up. I got a lot from them. And then just being a part of some really great teams, I learned a lot.”

Galynn’s struggle with cancer helped Brady realize the importance of life.

“You see firsthand how everyone deals with different adversities, and you deal with different things, but nothing like life and death,” he said in one of his recent interviews. “Ultimately, that’s what matters in life. You don’t sweat the small things in life, at least I try not to. You think about the big things, and that’s who you love and care about, the things they’re going through, and how they’re managing the adversities and stress in their life. That really puts to the test, at least our family was at different times.

“With this particular instance, with my mom, my dad was there for her every step of the way. My sisters who were in close proximity with my mom, they were there for her –– whatever she needed. I think that’s great for families to come together in different instances. Sometimes it takes big things like that for people to come together and spend more time and quality time (with each other) and say, ‘Why are we taking these things for granted?’ When you go through it, you don’t take those things for granted as much as maybe you do when you have an experience in life like we did.”
