Tom Brady’s Facebook Show Nominated For Emmy, Gets Kevin Durant Shoutout

Patriots quarterback Tom Brady is successful in pretty much everything he does, and it seems like he can easily win another award. It’s the offseason, and Brady might pick up another accolade. Brady’s show, “Tom vs. Time” is up for a Sports Emmy for Outstanding Serialized Sports Documentary. The ceremony will take place at Lincoln Center Monday night, and the GOAT will sure use the opportunity to brag about the award.

The series include details about Brady’s career and his battle against aging. It premiered on Facebook Watch in January 2018. A year later, the first episode has 15 million views, and the other five episodes average around 8 million each. The site earned a nomination for Home Run Derby Virtual Reality in the Outstanding Digital Innovation category.

Brady is really excited for the series’ prospects. The quarterback took to Twitter to express his excitement and the chances that he wins another trophy.

“Proud of the incredible team that made this possible. Can we win a trophy for this,” Brady wrote.

Kevin Durant praised Brady’ show, and there was a nice exchange between these two.

“Big congrats on the Sports Emmy nomination for Tom VS Time, Tom Brady! Bring home the trophy!” Kevin Durant wrote through the account of his very own show, “The Boardroom.”

What did the quarterback do? “Thanks champ, you guys are next,” he wrote.

If Brady brings home the award, he will sure give the industry a hard time. He likes winning, and we already know a few names that would feel bad. Brady can easily win an Oscar, and that’s exactly what Kobe Bryant did with his.

Tom vs. Time confronts HBO’s Being Serena, ESPN+’s Quest for the Stanley Cup and two different installments of All or Nothing on Amazon Prime Video, featuring Manchester City and the Dallas Cowboys.

“Brady’s show was produced by Gotham Chopra, a Boston native and the son of Deepak Chopra, the New Age medicine advocate,” Boston Magazine’s Ellen Gerst wrote. “When he’s not hanging out with the GOAT, the younger Chopra teaching film at Boston College. Hopefully he and Brady can split a private jet from Logan to New York for the night.”
