Watch: 14-Years Old Challenges LeBron To A Three-Point Contest

LeBron James and the Los Angeles Lakers are missing the playoffs, but the king uses every minute of his free time to support his son Bronny. LeBron misses the playoffs for the first time in a decade, and he enjoys his free time to be a sports dad. The Lakers star was courtside to watch Bronny’s Ohio-based AAU team at a tournament in Los Angeles. But, the interesting part came when LeBron was challenged by Bronny’s teammate. Yes, it was a three-point challenge.

During halftime of one game, the 14-year-old Gabe Cupps challenged LeBron to the three-point shooting contest. Should we say that Gabe wears No. 23?

Gabe realized that LeBron shot 33.9% from three this season, and that’s his worst percentage in three years. It was an amazing contest and LeBron James gave the kid some really good time. Oh, and that stare? It was amazing!

Gabe is a longtime teammate of Bronny, and he has already met LeBron. There’s another video from the tournament showing how LeBron helped Cupps to practice some dunk contest-type moves. So, yes, this was just a friendly contest.

It’s always good to see how LeBron acts in situations of this kind. He is really down-to-earth and knows how to give kids some good time. LeBron attends every game Bronny plays in, and he enjoys just sitting back and watching the game. He also cheers for everyone else on the team. LeBron is Bronny’s greatest supporter, but he also supports the entire team.

In one of the videos the star got out of his seat to applaud Cupps for passing up an open three in favor of a pass to the low post. LeBron is pretty much like every other dad, but he has three championship rings in his home.

LeBron is really proud of how Bronny handles the ball, and he believes that the kid will become a great star one day. LeBron even hopes to share the basketball floor with Bronny, and there’s a good chance that this happens. It would be nice to see them together, right? Let’s see if that dream comes true.
