Rob Gronkowski Takes Hilarious Photo With Dented Lombardi Trophy
The New England Patriots celebrated their Super Bowl LIII title Thursday night with a ring ceremony at Robert Kraft’s house.
Among the rest of the 2018-19 Patriots team was former tight end Rob Gronkowski. Gronk joined the party as part of his retirement tour, which has included a little bit of everything, including some damages to New England’s latest Lombardi Trophy.
In April, members of the Super Bowl squad paid a visit to Fenway Park for a ceremonial first pitch. The recently retired tight end carried the franchise’s newest Super Bowl championship trophy to the mound and used it to bunt a baseball, denting the tip.

And of course, at Thursday’s celebration, Gronk couldn’t miss the opportunity to take a picture with the damaged trophy.

Patriots’ coach, Bill Belichick teased Gronkowski for what he did to the trophy.
“Good job,” Belichick said.

Belichick now owns eight rings, having won two Super Bowls previously as an assistant with the New York Giants. Brady’s six rings are the most of any player in NFL history. For fourteen of them, these were their third rings, while more than 25 celebrated their first championship.
