Tom Brady’s Ex-Rival Buys Son Patriots QB’s Jersey, Even It ‘Kills’ Him

Patriots quarterback Tom Brady has a lot of rivals, and one of them has just bought his son TB12’s jersey. It’s one of the most hilarious thing we’ve seen on the Internet today.

Former San Diego Chargers linebacker Shawne Merriman bought his son a Tom Brady jersey Sunday. He isn’t the greatest fan of the New England Patriots. Merriman shared a photo, and Brady’s jersey was a gift for Father’s day.

“Happy Fathers Day to all the real Fathers who do things for their kid even if it kills you ,” he wrote.

merriman was the defensive star on a San Diego Chargers team that won the AFC West in the period between 2006 and 2009. Brady’s Patriots defeated the Chargers in the playoffs in the Divisional Round in 2006, and the AFC Championship in 2007.

His Chargers and Bills teams didn’t have luck against Brady’s Patriots, and we believe that watching Brady’s jersey all the time won’t bet he best thing ever.

Brady is the best quarterback ever, and everyone knows that. Even his rivals.

Aaron Rodgers is one of the rivals Brady played against last season. He was actually an inspiration for the Patriots quarterback.

I think it’s inspiring,” Brady said.

“Even for me, I watch his game and it makes me want to get out there and practice and improve, because I think he’s so phenomenal with how he manages himself in the pocket.

“His ability to throw the football is unlike anyone in probably the history of the league. It’s pretty awesome to watch.”

Does Brady consider Rodgers a rival?

“I think it’s actually a hypothetical question that is just truly impossible to answer,” Brady said.

“It’s great to debate it and those types of things. I don’t think about, ‘Oh, was this guy better than this guy or this guy?’

“I guess that’s because maybe I’m an athlete and I realise it’s a lot of teamwork, it’s a lot of factors that go into helping your team win.”

Well, we can already see Brady’s rivals buy his jerseys to the kids. Wouldn’t it be great? Awesome!
