Clip Emerges of LeBron James Putting Up Shots on Set of ‘Space Jam 2’

The Tune Squad is here. Lakers star LeBron James will be really busy this summer. He missed the playoffs this season, and that doesn’t mean that he is up to nothing. LeBron will be busy filming, and he is more than ready for Space Jam 2. Moreover, he has already put up some shots on set.

We don’t have much information regarding the footage, but we believe that the filming has already started. We didn’t see Klay Thompson and Anthony Davis, but there is still a lot of time left.

One of the best parts comes when you realize that LeBron will have a treatment fit for a king. He has a full-length basketball court built on set, and he will be able to use it during breaks.

ESPN’s Nick DePaula posted a photo of the basketball court that King James, Davis, Thompson and others will use during the filming.

“The Space Jam 2 workout court for players is set up at NBA superfan Jimmy Goldstein’s house in LA, featuring LeBron James’ logo,” DePaula tweeted.

Joe Vardon of The Athletic was the first to reveal the information about the basketball court.

“Production begins this summer on ‘Space Jam 2,’ which stars LeBron and is set for a July 2021 release. This is not James’ first summer movie project; he filmed ‘Trainwreck’ in 2014 and the animated film ‘Smallfoot’ in 2017. Sources told The Athletic that a full-length basketball court would be built on the ‘Space Jam 2’ set for LeBron to train.”

This is an important project for LeBron James, and it’s definitely one of the biggest pieces he has worked on.

“The Space Jam collaboration is so much more than just me and the Looney Tunes getting together and doing this movie,” the Lakers star said in a recent interview. “It’s so much bigger. I’d just love for kids to understand how empowered they can feel and how empowered they can be if they don’t just give up on their dreams.”

Space Jam 2 will be released in July 2021. It’s directed by Terence Nance the creator of the HBO series “Random Act of Flyness.” We can’t wait to watch it!
