Kevin Durant Spotted In NYC With Wrapped Leg And Medical Scooter

Kevin Durant didn’t really make public appearances in the last two weeks because he was recovering from his ruptured Achilles tendon. Durant had a surgery to repair the injury, and will have to be really patient during the recovery process. He may even miss an entire season.

Durant was spotted in New York City on Wednesday. He was accompanied by a team of people, and they were actually helping him out of a building. Durant’s right leg was bandaged from his toe to his knee. One of his companions was carrying a walking boot and another one was right behind them with a medical knee scooter.

In this video we can see that Durant is trying to walk without assistance. He tries to move around without any help despite the severity of his injury.

Durant had a surgery on June 12 to fix his Achilles tendon. He suffered the injury in the second quarter of Game 5 of the 2019 NBA Finals against the Toronto Raptors. The star missed a lot of games due to his calf strain, and he shouldn’t have returned to the floor. Some say that his calf injury wasn’t completely healed, adding that this injury is the reason he ruptured his tendon.

However, Durant made sure everyone knows that he wasn’t pressured into returning to the flood. “I wanted to be out there that night because that’s what I do,” he wrote.

Reports suggest that Durant may miss the 2019-20 season due to his injury. Some say he will be ready for the playoffs.

The star opted out of the final year of his contract with the Golden State Warriors. He declined the player option and will be a free agent. Of course, the Warriors will offer him a max contract, and he may get $38.2 million in the first year.

That’s more than awesome. However, Durant may sign with the New York Knicks. The Brooklyn Nets have also showed interest in his talent. The Los Angeles Lakers are out of the game at the moment.

Let’s see what happens next in New York. Keep in mind that Durant sold his California home.
