LeBron’s Latest Instagram Story Should Have Lakers Fans Beyond Amped

The Los Angeles Lakers are making a progress. 2018 was terrible, and 2019 will be better. LeBron James made a promise, and his latest Instagram story was the real hype deal.

LeBron is pretty confident about his success. Well, he knows what he is doing.

This isn’t the first time LeBron made a promise. He did that at the end of the terrible season his team had.

“Believe me! Promise LakerNation the spell won’t last much longer! I swear. The marathon continues!” LeBron wrote on Instagram.Even Warriors’ Stephen Curry believes that LeBron will come stronger next season.

“Obviously the rest of the league continues to go, a lot of talent, a lot of great storylines, people chasing championships. But he’s had an amazing run. Pretty sure he’ll be able to reset for next year and regroup,” Golden State Warriors star Curry said. “It’s just different [with James not in the postseason].”

“It’s different, but what is it? [Eight] straight Finals he went to?” Curry said. “I’m sure it’s a different experience for him, for better or worse.”

It was a terrible season for the Los Angeles Lakers.

“Obviously, it’s been a tough season for all of us,” he said. “It’s not what we signed up for. Throughout the year, things happened. Suspensions, injuries, things of that nature. And just not being able to play sustainable basketball for 48 minutes. But you don’t even try to wrap your head around it, you just keep pushing. Just try to get better tonight, move onto tomorrow, and go from there.”

However, many things will change now. The team reached an agreement with the New Orleans Pelicans and they are having Anthony Davis on the floor. Hopefully, the Lakers will add another star player. They have already arranged a meeting with Raptors star Kawhi Leonard.

Leonard will talk to the Lakers just because Davis joined the team. Playing alongside LeBron and Davis is a big deal, and Leonard knows it.

This summer will be full of challenges. Most NBA teams will try to get themselves a star, including the Lakers. Kevin Durant has already declined his player option and he even sold his California home. We all know what that means.
