NBA Media Reacts To End Of Warriors Dynasty

The Golden State Warriors have been champions for two years. The Toronto Raptors put an end to that. The Warriors were expected to win the championship again, but the Raptors were stronger.

Toronto won Game 6 of the 2019 NBA Finals, and 114-110 was good enough to give them their first NBA championship. This is the first time a Canadian team wins the NBA championship.

Is this the end of the Warriors dynasty?

Kevin Durant had a surgery to repair his ruptured Achilles tendon. There’s also a possibility that he leaves the Golden State in free agency. Klay Thompson is expected to become a free agent, and every important player on the Warriors roster is getting old. The team won three championships in five years, and that’s something they should be proud of. The NBA cheers on the success of Toronto, but that doesn’t change the fact that one of the greatest dynasties was shut down.

The Raptors won their first title, and Kawhi Leonard now has two championships.

What’s the worst problem the Warriors had? Injuries. Almost every player ont he roster has been injured in this series. The team almost lost Stephen Curry. He was injured early in the third quarter, but recovered quickly and even had some excellent shots.

Andre Iguodala gave his best to score for the team. He stepped up, and made a lot of shots during the game. But, it wasn’t enough.

Klay Thompson was the best Game 6 player in the NBA history. The Raptors had no chance against him. The Houston Rockets and Oklahoma City Thunder couldn’t beat him either.

Did the Warriors fight? Yes, they didn’t give up on their title without a good fight. There were 15 lead changes and 6 ties.

Klay Thompson’s fall shocked everyone. He was down on the floor and had to be carried off of the court. However, he came back and had two free throws. Thompson wouldn’t come back in any other game, but this was an important game.

Draymond Green put his body and soil on the floor. He scored 8 points, 18 rebounds and 12 assists.
