Nick Hardwick Releases Bold Statement About Tom Brady, Patriots

Patriots quarterback Tom Brady did an impressive job with the team, and he’s been part of the winning squad for two decades. The Patriots won their sixth Lombardi Trophy in the Tom Brady-Bill Belichick era. Brady’s skills were of great help for the team, and even haters know it. New England faced harsh criticism last year. However, not everyone hates the championship-winning squad. Chargers center Nick Hardwick has something good to say about TB12 and the squad.

Hardwick appeared in Peter King’s “Football Morning In America” column on NBC Sports. He had nothing but words of praise for the Patriots, the team that was one of the toughest rivals during his active days.

The former center honored TB12 in multiple occasions, and the Patriots nation is really proud.

Some couldn’t believe that a former player would endorse the Patriots directly. There was a huge rivalry between the Patriots and Chargers in the mid/late 2000s. They were the best teams in the league, but this didn’t change Hardwick’s respect for Brady.

“Brady has done a great job of allowing us access to him as a human. It’s easy to hate the machine. It’s hard to sustain hatred towards a human. I can’t believe I’m saying this publicly, but I devour any information I can get on the guy. He’s beyond impressive. And hell, so are the Patriots. There I said it. They are something to marvel at, learn from, and cheer on. Unless they’re playing my Chargers.”

It’s interesting to note that the quarterback wasn’t the only Patriots player Hardwick honored in his column. He had great words for defensive lineman Richard Seymour.

“I bet if you polled offensive linemen during his time in the league, there would be a high percentage of centers, left guards, and left tackles who would say, ‘There wasn’t a smarter, tougher, more physically imposing presence in the league than Richard Seymour.’”

The former center said what most haters are afraid to admit. Brady is the GOAT, and he will be remembered as such. The best player promised to play until 45 and he will sure win a few more Super Bowls on the way.
