Report: Final Decision Has Been Made On Kevin Durant In Game 5

The Golden State Warriors may be eliminated by the Toronto Raptors in the 2019 NBA Finals. The team is facing a 3-1 deficit in the series, and there are too many names on the list of injured players. Kevin Durant has been sidelined since Game 5 of the second-round series against the Houston Rockets.

Head coach Steve Kerr confirmed that the star player will practice with his team.

“He’s going to practice with us today,” the Warriors head coach revealed. “He’ll get some extra work in with some of our younger players, and we’ll gauge it from there.”

“Yeah,” Kerr replied when media members asked if he is feeling optimistic about Durant’s status. “Because he hasn’t done what he’s going to do today. He’s doing more today, and we’ll know more after that.

“It’s feasible. But again, it’s really a day-to-day thing. If we had a crystal ball, we would have known a long time ago what we were dealing with. It’s just an injury; there’s been a lot of gray area. So literally it’s just day to day and how the progress is coming. And at this point he’s still not ready.”

This happened after Durant was criticized for his failure. Warriors fans criticized him about everything he did. However, Durant is used to that. He’s been facing such criticism since the very first moment he signed with the Warriors.

“It’s been that way since I got here, that it’s the Warriors and KD. I understand that. And I feel like my teammates and the organization know exactly what I’ve done – on and off the court – to become a part of this culture. I know what I bring to the team,’ he added. “But I also know a lot of people from the outside don’t like to see us together. I get it.

“It’s hard to get away from that because I watch the games and watch the lead-up to the games and that’s all everybody is talking about. From my perspective, I want to focus on rehab, but I also want to be a fan of my teammates. I want to enjoy my teammates from a different view.”
