Watch: Rob Gronkowski Visits Barbara Bush Children’s Hospital, Mare Huge Donation

Now-retired patriots tight end Rob Gronkowski is super busy this offseason. Oh wait, he is retired, meaning he has a lot of free time. This time Grok arrived in Portland to spend some time with the kids at the Barbara Bush Children’s Hospital.

Gronk spiked a mini-football for the lovely kids. Adults had a lot of fun, too. The retired tight end presented the hospital with a $25,000 donation. Gronk has already done this, and this is his second donation for the hospital. The kids had a really good time.

A week ago, Gronkowski buzzed his head at One Mission’s annual Buzz off event. This event was organized to raise money for kids diagnosed with pediatric cancer. Hundreds of people attend the Buzz Off For Kids event to support the little fighters and raise money.

This was Gronk’s eighth buzz-your-head event. In 2018, he was part of the big event, too.

“I was a little nervous,” Gronk said with a laugh. “I was just hoping they didn’t get me bleeding on the back with the buzzer, but they didn’t, so it’s all good. They’re coming out here, supporting their friends, supporting other kids, the parents, the families, the friends. It’s bringing everyone together. It’s just a great cause, and it’s great to be a part of.”

The tight end was really busy during the weekend, and the Kids Camp was the place to be. Gronk kept his fans updated and shared a few picks of the event.

“Weekend was a hit! Had a blast with all the kids at my annual camp! Very grateful for all the kids coming out with so much energy, intensity, readiness to learn, and most important, having fun!! Thank you to my family, friends and all the coaches for coming out and helping with the camp. It was a pleasure teaching and playing some football again with all the wild young bucks out there! Keep working hard and staying active out there!”Fans are still talking about Gronk’s return to the field. Will he come back? If you ask him, he will say no. Again.
