5. Strong Defensive Secondary

The defensive secondary was one of the Patriots’ greatest strengths in 2018. They will become even better in 2019. Undrafted rookie JC Jackson had an awesome season alongside All-Pro teammate Stephon Gilmore, and he will make a big step forward. Add this to the return of the McCourty twins and New England will have one of the greatest defenses against the pass in the league.

4. Strong Wide Receiver Core

Brandin Cooks left the Patriots nation looking for more at wide receiver spot. The team improved a lot this offseason. They added veterans Demaryius Thomas and Dontrelle Inman. Let’s not forget that N’Keal Harry is here, too. Julian Edelman and Phillip Dorsett are always here, and there’s also a chance that Josh Gordon returns to the field. This will probably be one of the best teams Tom Brady has ever worked with.

3. Linebacker Chemistry

Jamie Collins and Dont’a Hightower will be together again. The two last played side-by-side in 2016 before head coach Bill Belichick sent Collins to the Browns. They played really well together, and strengthened the Patriots defense. Having them back on the same side is great, and opponents won’t even get any near to them.

Bill Belichick is the best coach in the NFL history. He keeps proving that he is one of the craftiest and most powerful coaches ever. He will sure bring out the best of his players, and we believe he will have a huge role in the team’s championship run.

Should we say more? Brady is the best quarterback ever. He took the Patriots to the Super Bowl nine times during his career. The Patriots won six championships, and Brady isn’t going anywhere.
