Tom Brady Wishes His Mom A Happy Birthday With Emotional Message

Patriots quarterback Tom Brady was raised by really good parents, and he is really grateful for their unconditional love and support. Galynn celebrates her birthday, and Brady had the most wonderful message for her.

“Happy Birthday Mom! There will never be enough words to let you know how grateful we are that we have a mom and Grandma as special as you. You’re kind, strong, beautiful, courageous, and wise. Thank you for always loving, supporting, and caring for us. And you may be another year older, but you’ll always be younger than Dad. It’s fun to celebrate the little victories!”

During his speech at Gillette Stadium, Brady thanked his parents. 

“I was raised by a great mom and dad who were very important in my life, still are, and I think they taught me some really great lessons when I was a kid,” he said during the send-off rally at Gillette Stadium. “My mom’s – I think some of you guys have met her – she’s probably the sweetest person I’ve ever met in my life. I get a lot from her. My dad is very loving, empathetic and I get a lot from him. My family, my sisters were very competitive growing up. I got a lot from them. And then just being a part of some really great teams, I learned a lot.”

Unfortunately, Galynn struggles with cancer, and couldn’t attend some of the games Brady had. She is doing fine now.

“She’s doing well. She gets her scans every three months, and she’s really done well. It’s been a while since she finished her treatments. We’re always praying and hoping they come back clean. So far they have, and we’re very blessed. It’s touched our lives, and it’s touched my mom’s life, and it gives you perspective on life when you go through those things. I think we’re very thankful for all the people who supported her, and for all the people who are doing great work in the world.”
