LeBron James Gets Last Laugh If The Lakers Sign Kawhi Leonard

LeBron James runs the world of basketball, and he is doing really great in business dealings, too. King James is working really hard to shape his own brand, and let’s just say that he is successful in so many aspects.

The Lakers star is 34 now, and joined his third team last summer. He is no longer considered the consensus best player in the NBA – not if you take into consideration the age factor. It turns out that LeBron is even fine with not being the greatest player on his own team.

LeBron says he needs help, and he isn’t afraid to show it. He controls his professional career, and he knows what a perfect ending looks like. Are you surprised to see LeBron orchestrating his own career? Of course not. He is into aging gracefully, and the word “despair” doesn’t exist in his vocabulary. LeBron is all about leaving the floor through pure domination. He wants to leave the game with a lot of pride and honor. He won’t leave the NBA while standing at the bottom of every ranking.

Will LeBron be able to pull out such move?

The Los Angeles Lakers were 37-45 last season and missed the playoffs. LeBron didn’t sign up for that. He didn’t sign up for such a terrible game. His debut with the Lakers was a complete failure, and he wasn’t the only person to cause the chaos. The big LeBron missed the playoffs for the first time in many years, and he isn’t used to that.

The first great thing happened when the Lakers reached an agreement with the New Orleans Pelicans. Anthony Davis requested a trade, but the Pelicans wouldn’t let him go. He is finally here, and LeBron is more than happy with this development of events. He even gave Davis his jersey number.

The second best thing may happen these days. There’s a growing number of speculation regarding Kawhi Leonard and his next move. The Finals MVP is a free agent now, and he has to make a big decision. The Lakers are considered favorites at the moment.

If Kawhi decides to sign with the Los Angeles Clippers or Toronto, he will sort of protect himself from the attention LA receives.

If he signs with LA, people in Toronto will be really mad, and the Lakers may win the big game next year.
