Old Video Shows Tom Brady Hitting Home Run At Fenway Park

Patriots quarterback Tom Brady is the greatest football player of all time. But, he would be the best in any other sport. There’s a video taken at Fenway Park, and Brady is hitting home run.

It turns out that Brady would have been just great had he decided to play pro baseball.

Brady likes to joke about his decision to pursue a career in the MLB because of their huge contracts. This video added fuel to the fire, and we can see Brady taking batting practice at Fenway Park. He talks to former Red Sox skipper Grady Little before jumping in the batters box and TB12 actually managed to hook one around the Pesky Pole for a home run.

“I did pull it out on one of the shorter parts,” Brady said in the NESN interview. “To get it out on the last swing, I kind of walked away with a real good taste in my mouth.”

Brady was drafted by the Montreal Expos in the 18th round of the 1995 MLB Draft. Moreover, he was looked at as one of the better catching prospects.

“I think he could have been one of the greatest catchers ever,” former Expos GM Kevin Malone told Bleacher Report’s Bill Speros back in 2017. “I know that’s quite a statement, but the projections were based on the fact we had a left-hand-hitting catcher, with arm strength and who was athletic. … But his first love was football.”

What about the big celebration? The Patriots were scheduled to attend the Red Sox season opener. The celebration honored both the Patriots and Red Sox players.

“We’ve invited the Patriots and we’re ecstatic they’re going to be there. It’s going to be a great day,” said Red Sox president Sam Kennedy.

“We have an exciting day coming up on Tuesday. It has been a tough start to the season, but we’re going to celebrate Boston championships on Tuesday. We’ve had a great tradition of celebrating and recognizing Boston teams and their championships, so we’re excited to be celebrating two championships that took place.”

Keep up the good job, Brady!
