Rob Gronkowski Delivers Message For Patriots For Pats Nation From The ESPYs

Rob Gronkowski is no longer of the New England Patriots, but he never misses an opportunity to greet his team. Gronk decided to retire, and he seems to be enjoying his retirement. Well, his workout may be a sign of Gronk’s readiness to hit the field again. That’s not all. The retired tight end greeted Patriots fans in a video from Wednesday night’s ESPY Awards.

Gronk was accompanied by running back Sony Michel, defensive end Deatrich Wise and center David Andrews. Can you imagine seeing Gronk shout out Patriots nation? He has already done that.

The Super Bowl 53 champion Patriots are nominated for “Best Team” at this year’s ESPY’s. The team will confront the Boston Red Sox (MLB), Clemson Tigers (NCAA football), Toronto Raptors (NBA), Baylor Bears (NCAA women’s basketball), Virginia Cavaliers (NCAA men’s basketball), and the U.S. Women’s National Soccer Team.

So, we’d really want to know if Gronk is ready to come back?

Jay Glazer says yes. “Gronk could retire for 10 years and come back and still dominate. He is ridiculous.”

Gronkowski says no.

“There’s definitely going to be times when you miss it and everything,” Gronkowski Rich Eisen when asked about the start of the season. “I would always say that it’s still the offseason right now. I mean I can’t really say how I’m going to feel about it when the games start rolling around and everything. You know, I just felt like it was time. I feel really good right now and it was just definitely something I thought it was the right time and the right thing to do.”

He will sure enjoy his August. No training camp.

“You want to know something? I never had an August off in my life. So, it’s gonna be a little different,” Gronkowski said. “That’s when it’s gonna start really seeing the change is when that comes around in August when I’m not in training camp; I might not know what to do with myself. “To have that load off your back, I mean I’ve been playing football for 15 years straight in a row of that grind. Just relaxing right now feels good.”
