Julian Edelman Shares His Own Old Town Road Remix

“Old Town Road” is still here, and it seems like the craze won’t stop in near future. We know Tom Brady loves it. He even offered to put down a verse. Lil Nas Ex made a popular piece, and Julian Edelman decided to make his own remix.

The Patriots wide receiver tweeted a hilarious photo. There are horses, a squirrel, and a goat. Rings a bell?

This is yet another proof of the strong bond Brady and Edelman have a perfect relationship. The receiver will always remember the first time he met his favorite quarterback.

“I remember Tom walked in and I had my big ole 4-inch binder and we were going and he was walking through the doorway and all of a sudden I look up and he walks through and he goes, ‘Hey, I’m Tom.’ I almost dropped my book and I am like, ‘Holy smokes. It’s Tom Brady,’ I am a Bay Area kid. I was a big fan. And he goes, ‘Hey, Julian.’ He knew my name, too. He had his ol’ little grin on that he has. I dropped my book like, ‘Hey, Tom’ and you’re scrambling to meetings and stuff. As a rookie, you are in a new environment and you’re trying to study calculus with basic math knowledge. That is what you’re going through and then Tom Brady walks through the door. It was funny, but it was very a welcoming hello.”

Brady feels the same way about Edelman. According to him, Edelman is like a younger brother to him.

“He’s always been kind of like my little brother, in a good way,” Brady said of Edelman. “I don’t have a little brother, but he’s kind of like a little brother and he knows how much I love him.

“When you talk about Jerry Rice, that’s a guy that’s set every receiving record in the history of the NFL, basically. For Jules to be right there as one of two guys including him, again it’s just such a credit to Jules. I think his quarterback background’s probably helped him in terms of knowing where to be, knowing how to get open, and knowing when the quarterback wants to get rid of the ball.”
