Tom Brady Trolls Random Twitter User Who Questioned His Madden Rating and Speed

Tom Brady is the most competitive person on planet Earth, and he was far from happy with his Madden rating.

The Patriots quarterback was the second-highest rated quarterback in Madden 20, and a fan decided to tease Brady. So, this person says that TB12 shouldn’t be a 96 because he’s slow.

YahooSports stepped in the game.

“I 100% could run faster and further than Tom,” the Twitter user wrote. “So could 50% of high schoolers, 80% of college players, and 99% of pros. Learn how to unbiasedly access the totality of a player, then adjust these numbers and I could possibly take you seriously.”

Brady couldn’t ignore this.

“I’m so much faster than you Matt,” he responded.

Well, football is Brady’s greatest passion, and Matt decided to mess with the wrong person.

“I love competing, I love playing football,” TB12 once said. “I think loving the game and trying to improve and be the best I can be for the team is great motivation for me and I’ve just always spoken about winning and that’s what I love to do.

“That’s why I’m here, that’s why this team has done such a great job. I think everyone here is just committed to winning and really doing whatever it takes to win.”

During his appearance on the Why Sports Matter podcast, Brady said, “Once you stop, you’re done. I still feel there’s things to accomplish. And I’ve had an opportunity, based on all the things that happened the last 12 years of my life, you know, to put myself in a position to achieve things that no one else has achieved. So I feel like I kind of have to do it. … It’s (expletive) going to be hard to do. But I think I can do it.”

“When I’m out on the field in front of 70,000 people, I can kind of do what I want. I can really be who I am. I get to be me, with my raw emotion and energy. If I want to scream at somebody, I can scream at somebody. But you don’t really see me do that any place else.

“I don’t trust a lot of people. That’s probably why I love football so much because it allows me to be who I am in a very authentic way that is hard for me to be when I walk off the field.”
